Calgary Boat and Sportsmen Show
February 24, 2014

While working our booth at the Calgary Boat and Sportsman Show, we were interviewed by Kelsey Simpson of the Calgary Journal. The avid hunter was great to work with, and did a great job asking the right questions:

“Travelling from British Columbia to New Brunswick, the app has already spanned seven provinces, working within each province’s regulations. Stenroos said he has no intentions of slowing down just yet.”

“If you’re a hunting enthusiast who’s frustrated looking through all the maps, textual boundaries and complicated tables to determine the rules and regulations regarding what, when and where you can hunt, you need to check out iHunter.”

Calgary Herald – Startup of the Week
November 19, 2012 is an app review website that focusses on Calgary based startups and apps which did an early review of iHunter just weeks after our initial launch.

“iHunter Alberta brings life to Alberta’s wildlife management units (WMU’s) & hunting regulations.  Harnessing the full power of iOS maps, Alberta’s WMU’s are simply displayed as coloured areas and served through an app.”
